Did you know that in tropical and subtropical regions, diseases such as Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika are serious threats contracted from mosquito bites? Did you know that due to warmer climates, those same mosquitoes are migrating further and further north?
Mosquitoes come out most at dawn and dusk. When you go out in the morning or evening use NO MORE BITES ON ME organic repellent to protect yourself. Mosquitoes and those pesky No-see-ums (aptly named because they are so tiny and difficult to see) hide under tables, in bushes and plants. They like to hide in bathrooms too and can even bite through thin clothing.
What you can do…
Keeping windows and doors closed at dusk and dawn will greatly minimize the number of bugs that are waiting to make a meal out of you in your home during the night. Those are the times when they are most prevalent. Mosquitoes like to hang our in bathrooms where it is usually nice and damp!
Standing or stagnant waters are great breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Minimize your mosquito population by clearing excess water from your patio or yard. For example, planters that hold water in the tray under the pots for any period of time are prime mosquito targets for breeding. Also any standing water puddles from rain, ponds and swampy places will attract mosquitoes.
If you have a fountain consider putting a layer of cooking oil on the surface of the water to stop mosquito larvae from growing. The oil remains on the surface and will not damage your water pump. Pretty soon you may find that you don't need NO MORE BITES ON ME quite as often. To see if you have mosquito larvae, look into the water and see if there are tiny wiggling things that look like worms. They may be attached to the surface which is where they breathe, or just swimming about.
Hi...I am Gwen Sowray, the principal lotion and potion creator at https://AlltheEssentials.net™. and at the new website:www.GwensSkinOrganics.com I am a 73 yr old creative woman with a passionate interest in only using healthy, Non Toxic and Organic ingredients and foods in and on my body, and I implement this principle in all the products that I create. I am a four time, 12 year, Ovarian Cancer survivor (to date) fighting for a reason and a cure. Allergies run in my family, especially on skin and in foods and medications, so I also want to avoid those if at all possible. Creativity is where I am at my happiest. When I create a new skin product, I ask my friends and family to test it first because I know that I will get honest feedback! Here I am at home with our cat Violet and a celebratory glass of bubbly, Cheers! (Violet doesn't like bubbly but the bubbles fascinate her).
